LAWYERS / GILLIAN BROADBENT
Gillian maintains a general litigation practice focused on corporate and commercial disputes. She has advised clients on a broad range of litigation matters, including contractual disputes, employment issues, professional discipline and conduct matters, and securities related proceedings. Gillian is passionate about assisting clients and she strives to be creative, strategic, and pragmatic in her approach to legal issues.
Gillian obtained her law degree from the University of Saskatchewan and holds two undergraduate degrees from the University of Calgary in Philosophy and Political Science. While in law school, Gillian volunteered with Pro Bono Canada and the Elizabeth Fry Foundation. She continues to volunteer with Pro Bono Law Alberta as Civil Claims Duty Counsel at the Calgary Courts Center. Gillian values community involvement and promoting access to justice.
Prior to joining TingleMerrett LLP, Gillian summered and articled with an international law firm. Outside of the office, Gillian enjoys spending time with her family, practicing yoga, and traveling.
