IN MEMORIAM: Richard Tingle, Q.C. (1940-2007)

(June 27, 2007) The partners of TingleMerrett LLP are saddened to announce that their friend and partner Richard Tingle, Q.C. has passed away at the age of 66. Richard was the finest of men, with exceptional integrity and a noble character such that all who had dealings with him, whether his clients or opposing counsel, remembered him as a true gentleman whose word was his bond. As the founder of TingleMerrett LLP and described as a "lawyers' lawyer", Richard set an example of professionalism and balance not only for his partners, but also for the legal profession at large, in his 44 years at the Bar.
