Andrea Burrows

Andrea Burrows is an associate in the firm's Securities and Business Services practice group. Andrea has been practising securities laws in Calgary for the past sixteen years. Prior to that Andrea received a Bachelor of Laws program at the University of British Columbia in 1993 and, after articling with a large Toronto firm and becoming a member of the Ontario Bar in 1995, relocated to Calgary and was called to the Alberta Bar in 1996. Andrea received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree (Honours) from Wilfrid Laurier University before attending law school.

 

 

Andrea has been practising in the areas of securities regulations, corporate finance and commercial transactions advising public companies listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the TSX Venture Exchange in a variety of transactions including initial and secondary public offerings, private placement financings, share and asset acquisitions reverse takeovers, amalgamations, reorganizations and other business transactions. Andrea also assists companies on matters relating to ongoing regulatory compliance and corporate governance issues.
