Amanda Ellis

Amanda joined TingleMerrett LLP as an associate in June 2007, prior to which she practiced as a corporate commercial lawyer in the Calgary office of a large national law firm. Her practice focuses on corporate commercial law with an emphasis on debt financing and related transactions, securities transactions, share and asset acquisitions and dispositions, corporate governance and related business matters.

While born and raised in Calgary, Amanda received both a B.Sc.(Hons.) and a B.A. from Mount Allison University in New Brunswick and her LLB from Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia. She was called to the Alberta bar in 2006.

Over the years, Amanda has volunteered her time with numerous organizations. In her spare time, she also enjoys running, spending time with her loved ones and considers herself to be a true Calgary Flames diehard.
